Omma turns your app’s website into social content. This page explains what we collect, why we collect it, and what you can ask us to delete. If anything here is unclear, email hello@tryomma.app.
1. Information you give us
- Account details — your email address, password (stored only as a secure hash), and any display name or avatar you add. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email, and profile picture from Google.
- Your app’s website address and any brand details you type in or correct during setup.
- Content you create or upload — drafts, captions, schedules, images, and files you add to your library.
2. Information we create for you
- Website reading. When you paste your URL, our servers fetch that public page (and pages it links to) and pass the text to an AI model to work out your product, audience, tone, and colours. We only fetch public web addresses.
- Generated content. Posts and images are produced by third-party AI models from your brand details and your instructions, and are stored in your workspace.
- Usage records. We keep a count of what you generate so we can apply your plan’s monthly allowance and refund failed generations.
- Technical logs. Errors and request logs help us keep the service working. These are kept for a limited period.
3. Connected social accounts
If you connect a social account for automatic publishing, we store the connection through our publishing partner so scheduled posts can be delivered. We never receive or store your social media password. You can disconnect an account at any time in Settings, which stops any future automatic publishing.
4. Payments
Payments are handled by Stripe. Omma never sees or stores your card number. We keep your Stripe customer and subscription identifiers, your plan, and its status, so we know what your account is entitled to.
5. Who we share information with
We do not sell your data. We share only what is needed with the services that run Omma: our hosting and database provider, our AI model providers (for the text and images you ask for), our website-reading provider, our publishing partner (only for accounts you connect), and Stripe (for payments). Each acts on our instructions.
We may disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect Omma, our users, or the public from harm or abuse.
6. AI and your content
Your brand details and drafts are sent to AI providers so they can generate what you asked for. We do not use your content to train our own models. Providers may retain requests briefly for abuse monitoring under their own terms.
7. How long we keep things
We keep your workspace content for as long as your account exists. Deleting your account removes your profile, brand details, content, uploaded files, and connected accounts, and cancels any active subscription. Some records — such as payment and invoice history — are kept where the law requires it. Backups are cleared on a rolling schedule.
8. Your choices
- View and correct your details in Settings.
- Turn off product analytics and personalised suggestions in Settings → Privacy.
- Disconnect social accounts at any time.
- Delete your account and everything in it from Settings → Account.
- Ask us for a copy of your data, or ask us to delete it, by emailing hello@tryomma.app.
9. Security
Access to your workspace is protected by your account, and data is stored with row-level access rules so one account cannot read another’s. Data is encrypted in transit. No service can promise perfect security, so please use a strong, unique password.
10. Children
Omma is not intended for anyone under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
11. Changes
If we make a meaningful change to this policy we will update the date above and, where the change matters to you, tell you by email.
12. Contact
